Aveillant strengthens commercial team
Aveillant, the Cambridge based radar developer, announced today that Dr Dominic Walker has joined the company to lead the Business Development and Marketing functions. Dr Walker joins from Northrop Grumman UK, where he was Product Manager for the Airport Systems group. Prior to that he lead the
product development team within QinetiQ Airport Technologies, and was shortlisted for the prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering MacRobert Award for the Tarsier FOD detection system.
Aveillant CEO, David Crisp, said “We’re delighted to bring Dominic on board. The market for our various technologies is expanding rapidly, particularly within the sphere of drone detection, and his presence and experience will be invaluable as we continue to deliver and scale our product offering.”
Walker holds a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in Electrical Engineering from University College London and an MBA from Warwick Business School. In addition to the MacRobert shortlisting, he has twice been a recipient of a Janes Airport Review Innovation award, once on behalf of QinetiQ for Tarsier, and also whilst with Northrop Grumman for the Airport Realtime Collaboration software suite.
