AVEILLANT ACHIEVES WORLD LEADING ACCOLADE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Aveillant is now ISO 14001 Accredited
Aveillant, the UK radar technology company and leading developer of innovative solutions for air traffic control, has received ISO 14001 accreditation for its environmental management system.
ISO 14001 is the world-class management system that supports businesses to reduce their environmental impact. Securing the ISO 14001 accreditation confirms Aveillant’s commitment to environmentally responsible operations.
A major advance in radar technology, Aveillant’s 3D Holographic Radar™ operates in a totally different manner to traditional rotating radars. The new technology uses a static staring array to continuously track radar targets, offering a 100% “time on target”. Traditional rotating radars usually spend less than 1% “time on target” and so cannot provide the same high level of accurate information.
Aveillant’s innovative technology also helps the UK secure its renewable energy targets, therefore having a positive effect on the environment and sustainability.
