AVEILLANT RECEIVES QUALITY MANAGEMENT ACCREDITATION
Aveillant is now ISO 9001 Accredited
Cambridge technology company Aveillant has received ISO 9001 accreditation, one of the most widely recognised quality management standards in the world today, for its 3D Holographic Radar™ technology.
Aveillant offers a unique service to both wind farm developers and air traffic controllers through its innovative 3D Holographic Radar™ technology that accurately detects and differentiates aircraft flying over and around wind farms. The technology has been trialled by aviation authorities in the UK and US and independently proven to have an industry leading detection rate at a site in Scotland. Aveillant’s technology not only improves the radar images received by air traffic control but removes one of the major barriers to wind farm developers securing permission to build ‘in line of sight’ of airports.
Operations Director at Aveillant, Robert Wade, comments: “We’re very proud to have successfully achieved this certification. ISO 9001 accreditation reinforces Aveillant’s commitment to delivering the highest quality solutions to wind farms and the aviation industry. It helps to further reassure our customers that our technology solution meets rigorous standards and is able to meet our customer’s needs, now and in the future.”
