What data do we collect?

We collect the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number)
  • Non personally identifiable data about how our website is used

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Fill in a contact form or sign up to newsletters online.
  • Voluntarily provide us with information via email, phone calls, social media or in person.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

How will we use your data?

Aveillant collects your data so that we can:

  • Process orders and manage your account.
  • Email you with information you have requested (e.g. via an online enquiry)
  • Send you relevant marketing communications if you have asked to receive them.

Unless we have a separate agreement with you, we do not share personal information with third parties except where it is necessary for us to provide our services. “Necessary for us to provide our services” includes using third party software to keep track of your contact details and marketing preferences. This does not grant permission for third parties to contact you directly, but allows us to more securely and reliably manage your data.

How do we store your data?

Aveillant securely stores your data at our own company premises and in the cloud. Cyber security and physical security measures are implemented to keep your data protected. Where data is stored by third parties in the cloud we ensure these parties are also storing data securely and meeting their obligations under GDPR.

Aveillant will keep your personal data for up to 5 years from the date when we last had contact with you. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by removing all of your personal details from our database. We keep your details for this length of time due to the typically long procurement cycle for the products / services we provide.

We will also delete your data more promptly at your request. See the section below on “What are your data protection rights?”.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like. We will only do this if you have agreed to receive marketing communications by explicitly signing up to a mailing list.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

Aveillant does not send marketing emails at this time, but if you have any concerns or believe you have received a marketing email from us, you can contact our Data Protection Officer via privacy@aveillant.com.

If we send marketing emails in the future, a clear unsubscribe facility will be made available.
